Chuck, that website only covers the suwannee area, like suwannee and santa fe. If you go towards the east side, you would hit the st johns www.sjrwmd.state.us or if you go southwest, then that is the swwmd www.swwmd.state.us.

Hope that helps, we work with most of these for work, i think there is one for further west in the panhandle, but the suwannee covers most of that from what i recall.

sorry that sw florida @ www.swfwmd.state.us

again apologies try www.sjrwmd.state.fl.us and swfwmd.state.fl.us i think these links will work, i am working from memory here.

No joy on these links for now.
Will try later.
The effort, I'm sure, will be fruitfull.
Thanks.

Chuck

Chuck et al, apologies about the poor links, either go here : http://www.dep.state.fl.us/secretary/watman/ for a link to many of the wmd's or to http://sjr.state.fl.us for st johns river or
http://sfwmd.gov south florida or
http://swfwmd.state.fl.us for south west fl or
http://www.state.fl.us/nwfwmd for northwest fl.

Why they dont just keep the addresses the same and just change the wmd name in each i dont know, that is FL after all, nothing is straightforward. You will have to search around to find the water levels though on those sites, i cant recall them off hand, but that is the home page of each.

Simon,
Thanks for the links. I checked a few of them and they work. Will explore the links more in depth ;-) later.
Weren't you supposed to be at Ginnie tonight?

Chuck

ok, so we go to Boynton this sat. and next sat we go to Venice I do like lying down on the bottom of the muck, and scraping in the dark, wondering if the shark is thinking i am a turtle. hmmm maybe that is why I wear yellow . the shark will think I am a duck.

Chuck, it rained and rained from what i heard, we werent in for camping and running around in wet stuff all day in miserable weather, so we stayed home, went to Ginnie on sunday, was good fun!! Will get back there for the bbq, have other plans in the coming month or so, we cant get down to Venice next weekend, but hopefully soon, will write about it - we are up in Tally this weekend, but dry again.
