I have been trying to use TTL on my Sea and Sea YS-01 strobe and all it does is shoot full power. Does anyone know how to use it correctly?

My housing it came with a strobe mask and it has two holes on top for fiber optic cables. So i cut the sea and sea cable and slid it in the housing. Could that be the problem?
