I bought a used spg online. It all looks great, but what do I know lol? The hose only says its an oceanic 5000 psi, no date or anything. Should I just get my LDS to replace the hose or do you think its fine?

Do some searches and learn about visual inspection of your hoses.

Replace if required.

Nope..What I'm nervous about is a burst underwater

Hp hose burst is not a magor event. An lp hose is worse.

It is quite uncommon and very managable. I would not worry about it unless there are bubblesw or a physical defect.

Usually, rubber hose give you plenty of warming before issue occurs. Visual inspect the rubber for cracks, check for leaks especially where the rubber joint the fittings. if all look good, no reason to change.
