I have a question, I know that when using the macro mode I can get as close as 1cm away from the subject; however, how far away from the subject can I get and still get a good focus on it?

Regards,

Bill

HI Bill-
The focus distance is to infinity, so translated that means you can shoot in macro mode all the time if you would like and shoot distance subjects. Close-up is down to 1cm. The lens zoom setting will affect the focus distance as well, so the 1cm is at it's widest and it's approx. 1.6" zoomed to telephoto.

Thanks again for a quick response. How is the distance affected with your close-up lens? I recently bought that lens and am looking forward to using it in my May trip.

Regards,

Bill
