I just got my hands on the new Miflex 7' primary hose and upon examination I discovered that my V-32 primary port is 1/2" as opposed to the 3/8" Miflex hose (Miflex does not have a 1/2" hose) My only alternative was to use a 1/2" male to 3/8" female adapter which fit perfectly. My question is due to the tube which is inside the port, will this affect the flow of the regulator? My original primary hose and the new adapter look exactly the same on the inside so I would suspect not. Just curious. Thanks.

You are ok. The tube you see is our patented DFC (dynamic flow control). This helps to maintain a more constant intermediate pressure throughout the breathing cycle. As long as the tube is not obstructed your performance should remain the same.

Happy diving.
