Greetings.

Planning a trip in a couple of week to the Hampton Roads area where I plan to take in a few dives. Having never dove the area, I'm not sure what bottom temps to expect this time of year - trying to determine whether I'll be wet or dry!

Any information would be most helpful!

Maus711,

Check a few of the most recent posts and you'll find surface temps warm (70-70deg) and bottom temps inthe mid-upper 50's. If you plan on taking in soem dives, plan on wearing gloves and a hood for thermal protection, along with a 7mm wetsuit. Better still, give one of the local dive shops a call and speak with them.. They can give you a good idea of what to plan for.

Safe Diving,
Wil
