What are the conditions like in December? We missed out due to surf conditions the week of June 28...so we may get back in August and if not may start planning for winter break. How are viz, surf, water temp and air temp around Christmas?

It's like June, but cold. Some days are good, others are bad. A typical winter will send the water temps to the mid 60s. A particularly cold winter will send them to the low 50s. I hate Florida winters.

I would only add that your chances for an easterly wind may be a little better and since there's generally less rain the water may be a little clearer. Air temperature can be from mid eighties to mid thirties. It all depends on those "northern" cold fronts but for sure bring your wet suit and a coat.
