Unfortunately sounds like your Tec2g is toast. Don't believe that it can be repaired, but
sending a nice letter to Scubapro USA detailing your problems might help them decide to give you a major discount on a new replacement computer.

I like where your head is at. Could save a few bucks on a modern upgrade.

I’d first call and have a talk with tech that worked on it, and find out what he found when working on it.

This is my plan for sure. I've been out of the country for work for over a month now, and I suspect it might not be easy reaching them in the midst of the pandemic. I definitely intend to reach out once I'm home though. This seems like the kind of thing that wouldn't go unnoticed.
