visiting Monterey, looking for buddy or group

Hi,

I'm visiting the Monterey region soon and would like to dive there or near it.

I could dive either august 18 PM, or august 19.

I have 400 dives , but would like to travel light and bring minimal equipment, so will rent material.

Did you find a group? My son and I are thinking of diving at Breakwater on August 19.

Many dive shops run "Fun Dives". Beach dives mostly. Search 'Bay Area Dive Shops' and you should run across an organized group dive that day.

This weekend is the Concours d'Elegance so there will be many extra cars and people in the area. Make sure you arrive extra early if you want to get parking!

Hi, I got to dive on the 19th, at San Carlos bay. Great spot, saw seals, diving cormorant, and clouds of sea nettles.

I went with Aquarius. they were helpful and I had great service.
