The viz is the best I have seen in a couple of years i could clearly see the training platform from the surface temp in the high 80's

Maybe my buddy and I need to come up there for a visit ( and crash at someones house ).

very very good. So much better than last year.... Super clear by the wall in the deep end. :)

You can see the top of the airplane in the rescue area clearly. Temps in May were right at 80F at the surface and 68-71 at the major thermocline at 30ft.

You're right, so much better than the past years...

I"m going to check it out for the first time tomorrow. Is a 5 mil necessary?

We were there today, I am uncomfortable in a 3mm under 25ft and I am cold natured. 5mm would be hot!

It depends on where you go, your build, and sensitivity to cold if you
will really need it or not. The deepest parts (~55 feet) of CSSP are in
the 40sF even in the Summer. If you own one I'd bring it just in
case.

We were using shorties it was in the high 80's down to about 25'.
