Just a word of warning to anyone who might be innocently using the hoseclip provided with a Mares Kaila or similar BCD. It's a clip with two 'openings' which hangs off the front of the BCD.
My not very old Octo hose has just developed a couple of small leaks at the mouthpiece end, just where it is attached to the BCD clip. My partner doesn't use the clip on his Mares BCD and strangely enough his hose is fine!
I've now got to replace the hose at my own cost due to this. I recommend anyone using one of these clips to ditch it and get a different Octo holder, as I will be doing as soon as I get my regs back!
Funnily enough I can't find any contact details on Mares own website, or I'd be having a word directly with them!
