I would rather see the whole shooting match as well.

I would want the first to be able to properly set the cracking pressure on the second...

If she's lucky...they may just service both pieces while they're at AL...bonus...

Based on the photo, looks like there is a whole new understanding of "cracking" pressure.

They are the manufacturer and they know their equipment and their reasoning for it, no need to second guess them. They are the experts not you by a huge margin. When you trouble shoot an issue, you start with the big system and work your way down to the individual pieces.

Looking at the picture and guessing because that’s all I can do looking at one two dimensional picture, it looks more like a broken air barrel than a warped one. It looks like something that could happen if a tank were set down on a reg edge with the reg sitting at an angle. Did the wing pinch flat happen on the same dive?

By the way I see no reason for them to want to see the first stage other than it being a policy or so they can make one of those “obviously the scubapro first stage damaged our superior second stage!” Claims

No. A week apart. Boat was full with 16 divers Sat. I’m usually very careful to prevent wing getting stuck under my tank, but who knows what might have happened. Not a lot of space. I’m more used to 6 packs and still getting used to such a crowded boat. I like my space and divers who bring everything and the kitchen sink on the boat - GRRRR!

Same boat or operator? Or a string of bad luck, don’t they say those come in threes?

Bite your tongue! Usual boat/charter op. Hope nothing happens in Toby!

Why divers think those huge, stiff roller bags made for traveling are good for a dive boat are just beyond me? Don’t get me started. GRRR.

Pack a spare computer battery. I know DRIS is your LDS and if they think it is something to do with the manufacturing I would have to go along with that, maybe they were just hoping AL would feel generous, I just don’t know from this side of the loop. I would assume the tech would have seen anything this severe during the rebuild or would have seem it before if it were a weird material situation, once again just speculation and must defer to the person with the part in hand.

I have spare batteries for my Perdix, transmitter, and backup Geo 2.0.

Air barrel issue would have been caught during annual service. It happened about 3-4 weeks after. I’d been diving multiple times since I got the regs back, as I’m doing 2-4 dives a weekend. Maybe something happened on the boat and the reg got knocked in just the right way to cause the issue. I don’t know.
