Try shelter-rite vinyl fabric. I order most of my fabrics from sailrite but look around for the best price. I hope you have a heavy machine for this stuff. Good luck. ; )
 
If you have a way to properly bind it, poly coated cordura is beefy
 
An old, deployed air bag. Preferably from the passenger side because they're bigger. The stuff is about as durable as you could possibly get (for fabric anyway).

We have a LOT of them laying around that have cleared warranty (undeployed). You're on your own if you want to deploy them.

Don't ask me how to sew them up though.
