Hello All This is my first DIY Post. Messing around in the garage. Two kids getting Cer'td and 2 nephews a year behind. Gearing up gets costly even used. Any way, Cheapo vinyl utility /garage hooks about $1 ea anywhere and Kiln dried 2x4 8ft for $3 makes 4 or 5. Some table or hand saw work, sanding or routing and pre drill the hole for the hook then enjoy. Customise with paint, curves for straps, widths etc. I made a basic starter for these photos. Enjoy!:eyebrow:

Won't the wood rot with wet gear on it all the time?

Ha! Good Reply! Thanks Version 2............ Pressure treated or painted for waterproofing AND Identification Whose hanger with what gear etc Thanks!

I like the idea. I am a fan of clear poly for something like this. Paint can scrap, poly is tougher and uses the natural wood grain to hide wear and tear.

I love the Idea of clear poly. Now I'll spend more time looking through the lumber for really nice pieces tho!:)
