I was originally certified OW through Buddy Line Divers in Mt. Pleasant, SC in the mid-80's. Anyone know what became of the guys there? Just curious.

Hello. My parents owed that dive shop. Do you recall who was your instructor? We had to close the store after moving.

Jed Karsilla? Something like that. He was a pretty big guy. Jim was another guy there at the time. I was Citadel, so the shop supported our Scuba Club.

That's pretty cool! They supported our Scuba Club at the Citadel there in town. Years later, on a dive boat off Guanaja, Honduras around '98, I ran into a guy who had some interesting stories about the shop in the mid-late 80's.

Didn't he die in an airplane crash with the Big Bopper?

C of C alumn here. Met and married my bride of nearly 42 years in Mt Pleasant. Visited family there a couple of weeks ago. Stopped by Carolina Dive Locker to check it out.
