I know threads are sometimes moved (or deleted). It sure would be helpful if there were a pointer or some other reference to follow for those interested...

It was moved to the "Basic Scuba Discussions" board.
You're welcome. If you "watch" a thread, the alerts will follow it even if it's moved.
Sometimes we will put a redirect up for a moved thread but usually only for very high traffic threads, since the redirects cause a fair bit of clutter. There are a LOT more moved threads daily than most people realise.
