That is what I remember. I guess that is what I meant by bicycle flutter
 
I'll chime in a little better, to more rapidly teach your body to use the fins. Go the pool, no dive gear, grab a kick board and kick some laps without fins, do this for about 10 minutes. Then repeat with the fins on. Your flutter kick frequency will change slightly, but the form should not. This technique actually works better if you can swim laps (breathing as needed obviously) streamline without board under water, but not everyone can sustain full that for a long enough duration to make a difference.
