DIR- Generic What line to use for stage leash and bottle rigging?

What size/type line do people prefer when making rigging or leashes for stage bottles?

3/16" or 1/4" is pretty common. I prefer Dacron/Polyester line over nylon as it doesn't stretch when wet. Braided is key vs. twisted.

I use some 1/4” braided rope from the outdoor section at Walmart. It’s blue and helps me spot it when stickyfingers try to abscond with my stage leashes.

+1 on using a unique color if you can

1/4" braided polyester or polypropylene rope. The polyester wears a little better but dries slower

I've never seen double enders used/recommended for stage/deco bottles, certainly not within the DIR community. Where have you seen them used?

stage leash looks like that. Usually as a double ender. Regular bolt snaps work too.
