For those of you who are securing your octo around your neck with bungie cord. What size bungie ( thickness) are you using ?

If memory serves I'm using 1/8".
Not trying to be the terminiology police, but you'll cause some confusion if you call the regulator under your chin an octo, since an octo is donated and this one isn't. The reg bungeed under your chin's called a "backup."

Raokey is right, 1/8 inch is the most common size used.

I use 1/8 " latex. It lays flatter under the zip tie.

I use 1/8" surgical type latex too - its much easier to get under the tie around the mouth piece and snug it up tightly.
