For quite awhile now this hasn't worked for me. It just reverts to the obnoxious eye-jarring red/blue bars next time I return to the board. I use Firefox.

Regardless of which awesome eye popping style you want. You should try this...

1) Dump your cookies (if you store cookies) that have @scubaboard.com in them. You may have some kind of cookie conflict, so you revert to the default style. If you don't save the cookies from SB. You will revert to the default style every time. Since your style preference is saved this way.

2) you can set your link from your favorites to SB to define the styleid in the URL, thus taking the cookie memory out of the equation. For Example: If you want the blue style, use this URL http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/index.php?styleid=99

3) Check your user options under "Quick Links-> Edit Options" and look for the options highlighted in the image attached.

classic, assuming it's not missing important functionality. Or I also tried setting the header and footer colors to come nice medium blue color but that doesn't stick either.

I posted some answers in post #3

Classic is not supported, and is missing some major functionality.

The new style (and new vBulletin) which is coming soon is very easy on the eyes.

1) I dumped all my scubaboard cookies (there were dozens so obviously I'm saving them at least on this machine) and it didn't help.

2) Is there a way to set individual colors on an URL - the ones found on this page? - http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/profile.php?do=customize
Unfortunately the blue color scheme is even harder to look at.

3) yes, I know about the option there, it doesn't work for me.

There are 2 active styles. Blue and Red.

Classic is available, but hasn't been updated in over 2 years, so it's just basic.

Beyond that, you can't customize it further.
