He gets no credit by those bookish vermin, but me great love is readin' Pat O'brien's novels 'bout Lucky Jack Aubrey and Doctor Maturin an' the beaut'ful naut'cal speakin' they do.
To read of them "wearin' 'fore the wind" and fightin' for the 'weather gage' bring tears to me ol' eyes.
