I used a couple of wheelbarrow tires (pnuematic) I got at Ace hardware and a long threaded rod from the same place and put a piece of PVC on the rod between the tires. With a bungee to hold kayak on it works fine and cost a hell of lot less then the store bought ones. Have been toying with the idea of adding two uprights to the PVC to put thru the scupper holes and eliminate the bungee - maybe someday!!

Wow! bobsea43 still exists... I thought you fell off the face of the earth.

I'll have to swing by and see your yak contraption... See you Wednesday night...

Hey Nizzy. Do you have a Harbour Freight Tools up there? They have a huge selection of the pneumatic tires (big fat ones) and they are cheap. You can get the kind like Gibbon used for about 6 bucks or so. I was looking at putting some sort of wheels on my zodiac a while back and was looking into options. Of course no one sent me plans or pictures so I can only arrive at the conclusion that this is conspiracy by kayak divers to shut me out! Alright, I'll admit Dkramer has been very helpful in the past but I'm still suspicious of you paddle people. Ha ha ha.

Krawdaddy, yes there is a harbourfreight here. That is a good idea. I havent even thought about that yet. thanks
