Where are your car keys?

I made a spare key and it's tied with line to a d-ring inside a pocket of my BC. The line is long enough that I can use the key with the BC sitting on the ground next to the car, or I can unlock while still wearing the BC. It would certainly be possible to lose it, but unlikely...

I have a magnetic box that is hidden deep inside the wheel well. I only use that for emergency back up. I give one of my daughters the key if they are with me. If I am by myself it gets hidden discretely in the rocks or brush near the car. Thinking about an under seat pistol box for wallet and phone.
