Does anyone have any suggestions on locations where i could dive for arrowheads in SE Al?

Its not arrowheads but I read on THIS SITE there are some fossils to be found below the merrits mill pond dam. Merritts is an hour or so drive from Dothan, AL.

You might also try posting in the deep dixie section, more people from the area will see it there.

Our rivers are all pretty murky. You're better off taking a shovel and a seine and digging into rock piles in any creek.

In Florida it is illegal to take artifacts from rivers. The Chipola still has a few points in it.

In Georgia I think it's illegal to take artifacts from rivers. The Flint still has a lot of points in it.

Those are the only to rivers clear enough to make diving worth while near Dothan.

PM me for more info.
