Which Halcyon SMB for GUE Fundamentals?

I'll just point out that TSandM, a GUE enthusiast and proselytizer, once explained to me that she intentionally used no Halcyon gear except an SMB---an exception she allowed herself because the SMB was too awesome to substitute.

The closed 3' and 6' Halcyon smb/dsmbs are top notch - the magic is in the steel flange. Lynnes posts were always so informative - she has tons of useful information floating around out there.

Take the class with the gear you intend to use in you regular diving so that you are proficient with that gear. If people are just looking for an easy pass over solid skills, then perhaps they should re assess why they are taking the class. It may not be for them.
