you've done over 200 dives and you dont know what knot to use on a reel ?

Money "knot", not money "shot", I think is what is meant here...
 
AND THE WINNER IS ... THE PERFECTION LOOP. It worked fine, as I'm sure the other suggestions would have. My post was really just to determine if there is one knot the majority prefers, and from the responses here I get the impression there is (k)not.

300+ dives, but almost all of the tropical destination kind of diving. No use for a reel. I'm just starting to learn how to use one.

Your comment might not sound quite so snarky if there was only one knot that can be used on a reel. Actually, it would be snarky even if there was only one knot.

I like to finger trap..... Can not come undone on it's own... But you can easily undo it...
