Hi
I am hoping someone out there has used a solar recharger for their G10 and can tell me which brand and unit?
Am preparing for a very remote assignment for six months and there is no electricity.
I realise I can take lots of batteries but will always be limited by how much I use the camera/
any suggestions???

I doubt one exists specifically for that battery, but if there is a solar setup where you are going, those generally charge larger batteries and many times they are 12v. If you were to get one of THESE (or some other similar DC charger), you should just be able to lop the end off and connect it directly to a battery and charge it that way.

I did have a thought about that, or using a cigarette lighter connection.
Funny I can buy a solar unit for the computer but not the camera.
Not sure if I can recharge the battery on the camera via the computer.
