Hi ReefHound!!! Wow thanks so much for the housing information on the Go Pro. I would rather not have to take off the lens!! This looks like a great option!! Have you been happy with your Go Pro?? How is it without using lighting??

I mainly use my lights for night, deep, or macro. Shallow (<50') with good ambient light works ok.

EvilOtter,(Love your name!) Thanks for taking the time to respond. I just went to your you tube channel!! Great videos!! It seems like the TG5 has a more flexibility than the Go Pro. When you are shooting video and pictures do you prefer to have the wide angle option? I wasn't planning on bringing my computer on this trip so I know I will need to buy extra SD cards. Oh my decisions, decisions!!! Thanks for your help!!!

Thanks Hoyden- the flexibility makes me want to lean more towards the Olympus. Thanks for your input :)

    FezUSA,
Thanks for letting me know you can just use this naked for snorkeling and probably other water adventures like hiking, climbing waterfalls etc. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

ReefHound, Can you use the flip filters with the case you suggested?? Can you the Macro-mini lens too?Great to know that it works well with ambient light less than 50ft :)))))

Video using a TG5 without lights down to 72m in a Nauticam housing with a Kraken wide angle lens attached to the housing
