Is this a whitemouth or stout moray that I took a photo of in Hawaii last week at about 20 feet in depth on Maui? In case the image insert didn't work, I uploaded it to flickr here (https://flic.kr/p/uoAWtd)

Or am I completely off and is it something else? I have John Hoover's book, but it doesn't quite cover what I am seeing in the photo:

Whitemouths in his book and all web searches I have seem to have nice, even distribution of spots, except for a couple of weird variations that don't seem like this photo. But Hoover's book mentions a white margin on the tail, which this has. His book, however, doesn't mention whether this is exclusive to the whitemouth.

Stouts seem to have a more irregular pattern of spots, which this has, but Hoover doesn't mention a white edged tail, nor do most of the web pages (or Hoover's book) I have found show the tail. And this has a white tipped tail.

Anyway, just curious.

Thanks.
