Why does DUI Mount the relief valve on the front of the Bicep?

If I were ordering my custom DUI suit again I'd go for the cuff dump on the forearm.

I had the low profile Apex valve located on the left forearm, and later replaced it with the standard Apex valve because the LP one leaked when fully open.

The "cuff dumps" as DUI refers to them are a permanently open valve that is very small. And given I never actually dive without the valve open anyway, the smaller size would have been nice.
 
My DUI had the dump valve on the shoulder, but when I bought a brand New Diving Concept. I had them install the valve in the cuff. After 50 dives on it. I will never go back it is so easy to lift my arm and out it goes. I dont find it hitting or hanging up on anything as of yet. This IMO
