I have a vyper air. I was wondering if increasing the sample rate from 20 seconds to 10 seconds will substantially decrease the battery life? I know it will decrease the number of dives saved to the computer.

Richiewrt,

Yes, the sample rate will affect the battery life but not substantially. It is hard to tell exactly how much though because the amount of diving that you do will also play a big role.

Best Regards,
Chris from Suunto
