Hi guys,
I am an instructor doing my first tour of S.E.A and am currently working on koh phi phi. Can any one tell me what the employment opportunities are like currently on koh lanta? Is it to late to head out that way and is it an area where a work permit is needed?

Please if any one can give me any advise it would be deeply appreciated.
Sincerely
Geoffrey Naude.

Koh Lanta season has just started, and I guess most have the fix staff needed. However! They also use freelancers, so just head down there, make a nice CV, business card and get out and visit all the shops. Most of them are located in Saladan while other are scattered around the island. A really good freelancer will have a lots of jobs, while less good = less jobs.

Work permit is needed for any "farang" working in Thailand. Get it, work legeal and chip in like everybody else. If they get you, the trouble heading your way are bigger than you can imagine.
