Wow - A future double dip? :D

Seriously, how do you do that in today's modern GPS / Loran / mapping????

I wondered the same thing when I first heard , but the container ship is lying at right angles to the existing wreck, so if it does slip off the rocks and sink, it will probably bury much of the old site beneath it, which would be sad.

Bizarely, a very similar accident occurred about 8 years ago on another island a little further up the Channel, but the crashed ship never did slip back into the water, so it just sits there rusting away wedged on the corner of Broken Jerusalem.

Too bad they closed the wreck - diving the grounded and the old wreck would be cool!

It actually took them about 3 days to get it off, but yet, the site has now re-opened with no damage apparently.
