I recently purchased a scubapro 109 and mk5 for really cheap. seller had a "make an offer" button, so I made one for a quarter of the price. was pleasantly surprised when he accepted it.

The 109 is pristine. No scratches on the chrome. Took it apart and it looked just as shiny inside. I don't think it was used like ever.

Anyway, I'd like to upgrade it so it's balanced--like an undercover 156. But the only upgrade kit I can find is $65 using the "buy it now" option on an auction site. VDH had them cheaper but is sold out with a "not sure when we'll get them in again" disclaimer. I've googled my heart out but can't find another one for sale anywhere.

Does anyone have one they can sell me?

Just curious, with the MK-5 being balanced, why not just keep using the DURO Poppet?

It is quite a nice (and simple) set-up.... (I have and dive both 109 and 156 seconds, mostly using the 156 on a MK-2)

Thanks for your reply. I guess I was figuring a balanced 109 would perform better on deep dives
