WWII Airplanes

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some good dive sites that have WWII airplane wreckage. Mostly I am looking for sites in Europe and North Africa, nothing any the pacific theatre. I am researching the sites for a potential documentary series.

I would be very grateful for any tips or direction,

hi,

you can try the south of France, just have a look to this Hellcat
actually a WWII plane but has started its wreck career in 1956
Same kind of history for the Wildcat

there is also planes which have "sunk" during wwII, for example

Corsair F4U off south shore Oahu....

and the pilot was living a few years ago on Maui, rumor had it.

nothing any the pacific theatre.

Lake Murray, SC has pieces of several B-25s on the bottom....they raised one several months ago.
