Xtreme plus other brand gear question...

I'm thinking of buying an Xtreme (Extreme?) from a friend; I've used a Posieden before. Does it take standard HP & LP hoses & can I use another (Atomic, SP etc.) octo with it?
These may seem like silly questions, but I don't want to buy the reg only to have to but more stuff to use it. I simply want to add my octo, SPG & inflator hose but have heatd that Pos gear can be...non standard.

they use all standard hoses

the only problem you'll have with the octo's is that the Xstreams run at a real low IP of 123psi which is about 20psi lower than standard. Your octo will breathe a little harder than normal because of the lower IP, but you might be able to tune that out. It won't be a huge difference, but you will probably be able to notice it
