Hi !

I just tried the Dyron DY-UAL67II with a PT-050 housing

DY_UAL67II.gif

It's a wet lens with a dome who changes you 28mm into a 14mm (as they say)

You must be in macro mode to focus and no zoom is possible

No vigneting with it except if the lens hood is in bad position

There appears to be quite a bit of corner distortion, blurring. Nice shots though.

A few picks taken this evening with the XZ-1 and the PTWC-1 wide angle lens.
The dive was at Three Tree North in Burien, Wa. Viz was less than 10 fsw.....

That new lens won't work with the XZ-1...the glass is too wide.

feedback on Dyron 14mm wide-angle lens with dome

Thanks for your pics, they are awesome. i'm about to get the Xz-1 and his housing PT-050. but i'm hesitating between the Inon UWL-H100 28m67 with the Inon Dome or this Dyron 14MM lens dome.

there is a huge difference between both of them. 750 euros for the Inon combo and 300 for the Dyron.

Would it be possible to have more pictures and/or feedback on the Dyron, there is no vignetting you said? I can see it is a bit blur on the sides of the pictures but it is still okay.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Stéphane
