I'm game providing the weather is good. I was thinking about going out on Friday.

I might be willing to go, if the viz improves. I was offshore today and even several miles offshore the viz could be measured with a yardstick. Where did you have in mind?

I am open to suggestions on location. I am unable to go on friday. I have to work in Cape Coral. Anyway let me know where you guys want to go.

Where ever ya'll want to go is fine with me.

Casperson Beach?

Ok guys, it looks like the viz for Venice is going to be a no-go, yesterday while my wife was finishing up her OW dives, the viz at Venice was < 3 feet, a front is moving throuth today with winds predicted to be 15 -20 mph from the northwest, which will not help viz. Tomorow winds are gonna be 10-15 from the northeast, but I doubt the viz will have much chance for improvement. Maybe this is something we should try next wednesday or thursday.

BTW wife is now an OW diver! She wants to get a bit more bottom time and hone her skills before doing any group dives, so I might be tied up for a bit.

Okay. Where is it?

Casperson Beach is about a mile south of sharkeys. There are several small (2-3 car) parking areas on the right, just past the dog park and two large parking areas farther down on the left.
