I often hear that learning yoga helps with diving, because it makes us think about breathing more, and makes you more relaxed and flexible. But here is something you may not know, the oppisite is also true. I just recently started taking yoga and because of diving I already have noticed that I pay way more attention to my breathing than anyone else in the class. So hey if you are a yogi and want to improve your breathing... take up SCUBA...

and it didn't take us 2000 years to learn it either :mooner:

I've been practicing yoga for about 14 months. My breathing in yoga practice is slower, deeper and smoother than nearly anyone else in the class. I attribute that to scuba. And, my SAC has also dropped.
