YS-17 + Lumix TZ5 compatability

Hello All,
I'm looking into getting the YS-17 strobe kit and want to know if it is compatible with the Panasonic Lumix TZ5 with underwater housing, in particular the pre-flash setting. Any help and advice would be appreciated as I'm new to underwater photography.

The tested and compatible cameras for the YS-17 can be found listed on the website here.
It is possible that the TZ5 would be compatible, however, it has not been tested. We would recommend reviewing the YS-02 and YS-01 strobes - these are more robust and are compatible with almost all types of compact digital cameras. The YS-02 is a moderately priced entry level strobe as well.
