Can someone fill me in on the details of what is and isn't possible when using the YS-D1 with the Nikon D7000? Specifically, I'm looking looking to leverage TTL, which I believe requires the fiber optic cable but I'm a little confused from the information provide on the website. The compatibility table list TTL as "impossible" but then mentions using fiber optic cables to attach to the housing.

Apologies for what is most likely a very basic question.

The TTL on the YS-D1 works with the D7000 and the S&S and Nauticam housings. I tried it out on many dives last month in Anilao. You can see some results in my YS-D1 strobe review. Hope this helps! - Scott

Thanks Scott, and great pics by the way.

Stupid question but does the D7000 need to be in commander mode with two groups set to ttl and the inboard set to "--", or will this work with the default "ttl" setting?
