:dork2: this might sound like a dumb question but I have been using a
sherwood first stage w/ dry bleed valve, but just bought a zeagle rezort piston type
first stage, it came w/ an 1 port open, does that port remain open or can I attach a lp
hose or reg to it?

In your most austere configuration you will attach at least your second stage low pressure hose to the opening. If you don't fill every opening you'll be reminded by the screaming of intermediate pressure air escaping. As you add other low pressure hoses, remove the blocking plugs and save them for possible use.
