I have an older (1999) Zeagle Flathead 6 which is of course really an Apeks TX-100. I like the reg and have also liked my experience with Zeagle.

I need to get one or two new regs but am torn with whether or not to stay with Apeks or stay with Zeagle. Now that Apeks has changed their HP seat (as Zeagle had done after leaving Apeks) my decision is even toughter.

I am considering either Zeagle's Flathead 6-ZX or Apecks' XTX200.

I would be very grateful if those familiar with these regs could share their thoughts and enlighten me as to which reg they prefer and why.

(Note: I am looking for a good tech reg for cold, deep NE diving).

Thank you very much!
