Has anyone used the Zen WA-100-EP dome with the PA-EP08-EP adapter on the olympus PT-EP08 OMD housing?

How has that worked? What lenses have been tried? According to Zen it will work with the 14-42 & 9-18.
Is optical performance the same as on the PEN housings?
Now, the big question, has anyone used the 60mm macro on such a setup?

I currently use the WA-100-EP on a PEN housing and love being able to use the 9-18, 60mm and occasionally the 14-42 all behind the same port.

Would like to achieve same setup on the olympus OMD housing.

thanks.

I'm using a Oly EPL-5 in the Oly EP-PT-10 housing with the Zen WA-100 dome.
I use the 14-44, 9-18, and also the 60mm macro lens all with the dome port and I'm happy with the results.
Some say the 60mm should be only used with a flat port. I find that is not true and can find no distortion using the dome on the 60mm.
You do get a wider FOV with the dome while using the 60mm and sometimes you need to get a bit closer on small critters but I don't find that a problem.

I don't have the dome or macro (yet), but in here people have reported that they needed to set the 60mm focusing distance to skip the closest area to avoid it focusing at the dome.

Hi Sooke, do you find the sharpness is better when using the dome WA 100 with 60mm lens? I would like to use 60mm and 9-18 lens during diving holiday and it will be annoying to keep changing the port all the time..

I have never used any dome port before. I am planning to buy it for the next diving trip but still undecided...

I am in the minority but could not get the 60 mm to focus in the dome. I didn't really try macro and was shooting fish portrait size. That may be why

Greetings indiedive, when shooting with the Zen dome and 60mm lens I keep the lens focus limiter switch set on 0.19mm to infinity. I'm pleased with the sharpness on macro photos and fish portraits. There is some lens hunting when you take a fish portrait and then shoot close up and macro photos but it is not really an issue for me. I keep trying to post photo examples but am having trouble doing so with my posts to this board.

Thanks Sooke & Chris! I take a look at the previous thread and it seems a promising dome! I will order it asap :)

Just a quick shot using my e pl5 with 60 macro set at .19~.4 using the Zen dome port.....
