Why can't zombies dive? OK, I'll take a swing:
The obvious assumption here is that by "dive", you mean scuba dive. Well, zombies don't die from lack of oxygen. We've seen them reanimate several hours after death, and even surface after very long periods of submersion.
Therefore, they clearly have no need for scuba equipment, and, compounded with their widely documented attention-deficit-disorder, it would simply be impossible to teach them to use equipment, that they apparently don't even need to survive underwater.
Basically, this would be like asking any of us if we'd go to the trouble of using scuba equipment, if we could already breathe underwater. Ain't gonna happen ! :D
