I just bought this lens to use with my Nikon F100 and NX-100 Pro housing. I will mainly be using it at the 17mm setting but it would of course be nice to be able to zoom to settings in the middle or other end of the range if I wanted to. Is there a zoom gear that will fit the lens or can easily be adapted to fit it?

    Hello,
SEA&SEA offers a gear (56140) for the 17-35mm Nikkor lens. There is no gear available for the Sigma lens. To find a dealer in your area, please visit the SEA&SEA website and take advantage of the Dealer Locator feature. Thank you for choosing SEA&SEA. Will the zoom gear for the Nikkor 17-35mm not fit the Sigma lens? The dimensions are almost exactly the same according to the manufacturers' specifications (Nikkor 84mm, Sigma 83.5mm).

    Hi John-
We do not stock that lens, and hence can't offer a definitive answer. However, based on the diameters you outlined, it would be more than likely that the gear would be compatible. Each gear comes with additional gaskets to help customize the fit as well, so that would enable you to tailor it.
