George Town Yacht Club Free Shuttle for lunch

Has anyone done this lately? I sent the GTYC an email to see if they still offer this. We are scheduled to arrive GC 10:20 on Wed with a departing flight at 2:30 PM to LC. Seemed like a good option. I don't see anyplace in the airport that would be a good lunch option.

I did it last fall and recommend it. Easy to ask when you arrive in GC.

We did last June no issue. We ended up just walking over from the airport and then taking the shuttle back when we were ready to leave. It's a short walk from the airport may be 10 minutes.

This is the way.

You can walk it, as @undrwatr wrote. But I don't fancy getting all sweaty before boarding a plane for a day of travel.

Received an email from gtyc that they still offer the shuttle and that they open at 11am.

This worked out well. A greeter at the airport called the shuttle. We were picked up at 11:15 and they had us back to the airport by 1 pm for our 2:30 flight to LC. Being midday on a wed the airport was relatively empty and quiet. Lunch was great.
