Vortoberfest offshore dive trip 10/18/08

OK DIVERS...I NEED TO GET A FOR SURE TO GO HEADCOUNT FOR THE PC DIVES.
Our plans are for offshore dives, so if you have suggestions, please post here and I will discuss this with the Captain. Everything is dependent on weather and the Cpt will have the final say. If you need tanks, please contact the shop in the beginning of the thread and make those arrangements so they will be on the boat waiting for you. If you have any questions, please PM me.

Carolyn, I am going to bow out of this one. I have a pretty bad sinus infection right now, and don't know for certain if I'll be 100% by next Saturday. It would be best for all if I just "take one for the team" and open up that spot for someone else. I'm just not sure that 100-110' would feel too hot if I'm still a little stuffy!

I will still be at the event, just taking it easier than I normally would ...

Ok, I talked to Cpt Pat tonight. It will be $90 for a 2 tank dive. You can pay cash or check at the dock, or PAYPAL on his webpage. Also, if you need tanks, you will need to contact Divers Den @ (850) 234-8717. They can be paid for in advance, or after the dive. Please let me know who needs tanks so that I can let the Cpt know so he can have them on board waiting for you.
Scuba diving and Spearfishing offshore of Panama City and Panama City Beach.

We are looking at trying to get out to the Twin Tugs. Also, the Chippewaw has been recommended by Cpt Pat. Its a good wreck with easy swim throughs and LOTS of fish. When we get to the dock, we can make our suggestions and based on the conditions, where we will be heading out. We will leave VORTEX @ 0700 with arrival to the dock no later than 0830. The sooner we get out, the sooner we can get back to setup for the evening festivities. Please do not forget your C-Cards, these dives are considered AOW.

Krak and myself will be driving. Depending on the final count, we might need one more vehicle. Krak can hold 6 and I can hold 3 comfortably with gear.
