So whats the second truth of parenthood?

If it's good then I may hold off from putting him up for sale on ebay... :D

Congratulations, Tassie!

Look forward to getting an uninterrupted nights sleep again in a few years!

(Don't sell your scuba gear. For the next ten to fifteen years you won't be in a position to buy it all over again! And there will definitely be some days when you'll need 'aqua-therapy'! )

Take lots of pictures - they grow fast!

Best,

Doc

:shakehead:Nope I think that is hmmmm.... the third truth.:)

The Second truth.......

All children are suicidal and will attempt to do themselves in...in a way that makes the nearest adult look as bad as possible.:blinking: How else can you explain why the same child that thinks you are trying to kill them if you put peas on their plate....will happily swallow drain cleaner?:shocked2: Suicidal I tell you.:rofl3:

Make sure you have good Health Cover..... as soon as they can move on their own steam..... you'll need it!

:blinking:Isn't the greatest feeling in the world when you put your finger into you child's hand and they instinctively wrap their fingers around it? I don't think anything can ever match that feeling when they look at you and your heart melts!:blinking:

Enjoy Tassie... every stage is precious. Now my son is grown I realize this stage is just as precious as the ones that went before!

Sorry about the delay getting back to my own thread – just been on a 2 day nappy changing, carpet-shampooing binge. Oh - the hedonistic lifestyle that my wife and I now enjoy!

Thanks for that Bowl – I now repeat like a mantra ‘This Moment is Precious;’ over and over again as I change the umpteenth nappy of the day at 4 am, only for it to be filled up 10 seconds later.... :D

Before it was all 5 star hotels and international dive travel, but now that we’ve discovered the joys of insomnia and my ‘What Poo Is That?’chart there’s no going back. :D

He’s just starting to smile , grip my hand and focus on faces, so maybe theres light at the end of the tunnel...

Congrats Tassie! :)

... no, dont sell your gear, gust put it somewhere that you can still see it .... and sigh :D

now for the big question , is he MOF? or NMOF

:DIf that doesn't help..:)...Just remember one day he may have to change YOUR diapers..:eyebrow:. or chose YOUR Nursing Home:rofl3:

Now what I need is some sort of super nappy that only needs to be changed once a day, or better yet, once a month... :D

No problem, just get the Pampers that are rated at 19+ kg. I think that should take him awhile to fill!
