Does anyone have any recommendations? We will be staying at the North end of Junkut Batu Beach in a few days. In particular if theres any restaurant that has Satellite TV in the bar area would be perfect. As we want to catch some footy action this coming Saturday night. Been a few years since Ive been to the island and was staying past Mushroom Beach, so apart from World Diving I dont know whats around on the main stretch.

But mainly any recommendations for good eating places for fresh simple healthy food would be ideal.

I am off there in 2 weeks for a week, and have been recommended a few places. Indiana kenanga seems to be the highest rated with a French expat chef but expensive, otherwise some place called pondok baruna was advised for info food, Linda's name came up. Of course I haven't been to these but I asked a similar question in a different thread.

I won't resume which restaurants I already recommended to Pughio.

I've never seen Footy matches in Lembongan (maybe I've never looked for it too) I am pretty sure Clément at Indiana Kenanga would never play footy... probably your best bet should be Mainski which is 100% australian owned (Australian Cuisine, Australian chef, Australian hygiene they claim on their board).

Bars with Sat TV :

- Mainsky, north of Jungut Batu beach
- ScoobiDoo Bar, in the center of Jungut Batu beach
- Batu karang, on the hill
- The Beach Club @ Sandy Bay, on the hill

I guess you can also find bars with Sat TVs in the Mushroom Bay area.

Eateries to recommend :
- Pondok Baruna Warung is by far the best value for the money on the island
- Indiana Kenanga, gourmet restaurant, menu here : Gourmet Restaurant|Cuisine Gastronomique Lembongan Bali | Indiana Kenanga Luxury Boutique Hotel, Villas & Spa
- Dream Beach Huts & the Beach Club, upper market bars & restaurants
- All the small warungs on the north of the island (Mangrove) that serve the catch of the day
- Warung 99, on the main road behind the old temple & public boat office, just to try some local food the local way

Hey thanks folks!! Will have to check these out..I do remember when I dived with World Diving the Nasi Bungkus was delish! Have eaten at Dream Beach when I stayed there. More importantly I found out Mainski is showing the big game on Saturday evening, so if anyones in the area that night you know where I will be - send me pm and come have a beer or three with me :D

For budget I recommed pondok baruna, its tasty. Another good place to eat is the beach clu at sandy bay website Sandy Bay Lembongan –   . Call the beach club for reservation and they will pick you up off from and to your hotel(anywhere in lembongan)

Well strange no one mentioned Indah, we had great food there! Every night! Seafood bbq indeedy.. ^_^

Are you speaking of Indah Bungalows restaurant. "Fairweather" terrace bungalow looked awesome but not the restaurant, passed in front almost every night but didn't seem so tempting to us.
Sat once for lunchtime, waited 15minutes no one came, so we moved to the Indo restaurant 50m up north (don't know the name of it), grilled barracuda was good, not as tasty as Pondok Baruna or Linda's grilled MahiMahi though
